Thurs 8/26 thru Labor Day Mon 9/6 in the northwest “X-Zone” corner of fairgrounds at crossroads of Murphy & Underwood. 20 minutes of shredding, sharp at 11:00am, 12:30pm, 2:30, 3:30, 5:00, 6:30, and 7:30pm followed by an epic autograph session, although don’t be surprised when you find yourself aroused in an exclusive private autograph session.

Who has been invited back to their 10th year of throwing down at the fair? Exactly. Time to celebrate. Introducing CLUB 3RD LAIR. DJ’s, GIRLS, fog machines, GIRLS, strobe lights, GIRLS, LASERS, GIRLS, glow sticks, GIRLS. Atmosphere provided by Sound in Motion featuring Minneapolis’ hottest local DJ’s including Jack Trash, Cities of Gold, Tyler Hampton, Ben Clear, D-Struct, Stash and Guest MC Obliquity. Each ‘Club Enhanced’ night show starts at dusk after our last 7:30 day show (shortly after 8pm) on Fri 8/27, Sat 8/28, Thu 9/2, Fri 9/3, Sat 9/4, Sun 9/5.

TRAIL SEASON HAS ARRIVED. And I can officially say I’ve put in a solid 30 hours with a shovel this week in Benny’s yard… Bring your bike & a six pack and come join the party.

Jeff & I drove down to nearly Texas the other day, the event was insane. Seriously you need to show up a week early to get enough practice in, especially if you’ve never ridden the park. Friday & Saturday practice, you’re lucky if you get 30-40 runs in before qualifiers. Special thanks to Jeremiah who runs Autumn Ramp Park for letting us crash as his place. Super fun weekend, I still can’t believe how many loud ratty BMX riders we’re in that hotel hallway at 4am before the cops came, racing bellboy luggage carts, pissing off hotel guests, etc.

Apparently! So Jeff Dowhen is visiting Mike Hinkens in Nicaragua, and he somehow ran across this school notebook and noticed an InterBMX.com shirt (a large BMX community website I started in 2006) on this BMXer actually PRINTED on the cover… He takes a photo & tags me on Facebook, now I’m looking at this thinking WTF, and I suddenly realize the rider is MY ROOMMATE AJ Haines!! The photo was taken from our 3rd Lair BMX shows at the MN State Fair in 2008. How it ended up commercially printed on notebooks in Nicaragua I have no ideaaaa. An international lawsuit sounds interesting.. Time for some contingency money, and if it weren’t Nicaragua we may have a chance of walking away with more than fifty cents lol

Two story roll in, right into a 24′ gap. These jumps are seriously insane. They changed the ramps a little bit from last year, but for the most part pretty much the same.

I seriously rode better than I ever have at this event (sorry Craig Mast & home town hero Koji Kraft) lol blame the music “Any way you want it” for my Journey taking a few of you out…
